DON'T GET FOOLED BY NUMBERS

SOFTWARE
How often do we judge the smartphones by their  outer specifications and not the software version running on it.
To make the idea clear take two phones having same specs and different software builds.Dont be surprised! They both vary in performance, yes they do?
Apart from checking the software version,Buyers should check the ROM which is running on the phone.
Android is opensource and every company using android can modify it and add its own flavour to it.
For example Samsung's touchwiz,HTC sense
This modified builds of android gel good with high end phones. But low end phones struggle for stability and smoothness as this Roms are full of high end features.
Phonemakers should have a toned down version of their software for low end phones.
This was all about performance. Now coming to other aspects
CAMERA
9 out of 10 people judge smartphones capability by the megapixels it has.
The number of megapixels is only one aspect relating to the quality of a camera, or the actual quality of a photo it is capable of producing. Factors such as camera, sensor and processor, and the optical quality of a lens, play equally important roles.
Other elements determine the quality of photos and prints. They include:
1.Good lighting of a subjectProper focus and exposureImage clarity (lack of blur due to camera shake or incorrect shutter speed)
2.Shooting at the highest resolution and quality camera settings
For example below photos are
PROCESSOR
We get quadcore phones for below 10000 .Ooh wait! We have got an octacore processor on a phone at Rs 9000.MICROMAX EUREKA.But does that make it better than nexus 6 or nexus 5.No wait that's where the catch is.Yes they have 8 cores but which one.there are different types of cores like cortex A7,cortex A9 and cortex A15.Mostly in the low-priced phones the cores are of cortex A7.
Micromax eureka-
Nexus 5-Cortex A15.
If you want to know more about multicore processors you can head over to
